I’m Thomas Rendle and I come from Hastings, a small seaside town in the South-East of England, where I spent the first 19 years of my life. It is also home to the World’s oldest Chess tournament, the Hastings International Chess Congress, which started back in 1895 and has seen almost every World Champion play there at some point. I am now living in Shepherd’s Bush, London and working as a full time chess coach.
